Volunteers are the backbone of the K-100. Without these individuals the race could not take place. On the day of the event we rely on over 300 people to keep things running smoothly. The K-100 also has a group of 10 committed individuals who work year round with the race director to plan the race, they will also be present on race day.
K-100 volunteers work an average of between four and six hours, some volunteer positions are prior/post race day. Please see the positions described in our volunteer sign up link below for a brief outline of the different volunteer areas.
In acknowledgement of their contribution, all K-100 volunteers receive a great t-shirt. Please join us at our Volunteer Appreciation dinner which will be held in June. The date and location will be posted here shortly. In addition, volunteers are invited to the post race meal at Nakiska on race day.
